The Miles Perret Cancer Services Triathlon is perfect for all competitive levels. It is composed of a 200 yard swim (with staggered start), 8 mile bike, and 2 mile run. The event begins at the outdoor swimming pool behind Bourgeois Hall, a state-of-the art, 8 lane, 25 yard pool. Participants then complete two bike laps down Cajundome Blvd. The run course will take participants along the sidewalks of Cajundome, Congress, and Reinhardt Dr.
Due to pool limitations, limited space is available.
The Swim/Start will begin @ 7am at Bourgeois Pool. The transition area is in the parking lot adjacent to the pool. The Finish line and awards will be held in the grass area between the pool and the parking lot. NOTE: Bike is DOUBLE LOOP. Run is an out and back. Transition area will be open to participants starting at 5:00am race morning. Helmets are required.
Participants are STRONGLY encouraged to scout the race site before the event to familiarize themselves with the course. Click here for course map
All parking will be at Cajun Field. Participants are to park vehicles and walk bikes to transition. Dropping off in front of transition on Cajundome Blvd is prohibited. Due to construction, vehicles will not be allowed in parking lot adjacent to the aquatic center.
Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, Aug 19th at Capital Cyclery from 12pm - 6pm. We strongly encourage that everyone pick up their packets before the race. T-shirts will be first come first serve.
