Event Opportunities

Games of Acadiana is Miles Perret’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing our community together with free family fun that supports local individuals fighting cancer. The two-week virtual scavenger kicks off with an in-person event and survivor walk at Blackham Coliseum, and concludes with a drawing for 50 prizes and $10,000!

Camellia Crossing: Acadiana’s Gleaux Run welcomes thousands of participants every Thanksgiving Eve for a night of fun and purpose. Commit to our cause and become part of the team that makes a difference in the lives of local families fighting cancer.

Givebacktober is more than a campaign – it’s a community wide movement of generosity, awareness, and hope. Every day offers a new way to join us in supporting those facing a cancer diagnosis. From meals to markets to game days, you can make an impact just by showing up.

By collecting loose change in a Change for Miles bottle, your school or organization can help Miles Perret make a real difference in the lives of local families fighting, surviving, and living with cancer in Acadiana.

Service & Program Opportunities

Join us in ensuring cancer-affected families have necessary school supplies.

The Giving Tree is an annual program that offers help to families during the Christmas season. The program is offered to children and/or siblings (18 or younger living at home) of an active Miles Perret client.

In our office, we have a Christmas tree filled with ornaments which feature a child’s wish, age, and gender on it. Generous individuals, families, or groups in the community pull one or more ornaments from our Giving Tree. They shop for items and return unwrapped gifts to our office. (All wishes/gifts should be within the $35 limit.)
