Essential Care Resources
Cancer brings many challenges, and we’re here to help ease them. We provide non-medical resources that support comfort, confidence, and well-being throughout treatment and recovery.
Our Treatment Care Kits are thoughtfully curated with items recommended by Acadiana oncologists to support you throughout chemotherapy and radiation. Each kit includes oral care, skin care, and general wellness essentials designed to ease common side effects and provide comfort during your treatment journey, so you can focus on healing and feeling your best.
While a cancer diagnosis can often be overwhelming, staying organized can help bring peace of mind. Our Patient Navigation Notebooks are designed to keep track of doctors’ appointments, medications, treatment schedules, and more—all in one place. This comprehensive cancer journal helps you manage your care with confidence and ease.
Hair loss can be an emotional part of the cancer journey. Miles Perret offers a variety of wigs, turbans, scarves, and hats for those experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatment. With many styles and options to choose from, our goal is to help you feel more like yourself—confident, comfortable, and cared for.
Recovering from a breast cancer surgery comes with unique challenges, so we’re here to support you along the way. Before your scheduled surgery, stop by our office to pick up a Simply You box, as it’s curated with thoughtful items that support your recovery. We also offer Softee’s, a post-operative camisole designed to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout your recovery. We also partner with La Femme each month to provide bra and prosthesis fittings in our office for our clients in need—simply give us a call to schedule an appointment.
Miles Perret provides a wide range of medical supplies to support your comfort and care while undergoing treatment. Items include ostomy and urostomy products, tracheotomy care kits, Mediport comfort items, wound care essentials, and personal care products such as briefs, bed liners, face masks, and more.

Treatment Support
Tools for Your Journey
Our care resources are designed to support you at every stage of your cancer journey. From practical tools to thoughtfully prepared kits, these services help reduce stress and improve daily comfort during treatment.
If daily activities become challenging during treatment, we offer durable medical equipment—available with a prescription from your oncologist—to help make life a little easier. Resources such as walkers, rollators, bedside commodes, and shower chairs are provided to support your safety, comfort, and independence, so you can focus on what matters most: your healing and well-being.
Cancer treatment can place extra demands on your body. With a prescription from your oncologist, we provide nutritional supplements such as Ensure, Ensure Plus, Glucerna, Enlive, Clear, and Osmolite. We hope to help you meet your body’s needs while supporting your strength, energy, and overall wellness throughout your treatment. Eligibility requirements apply.
We understand that managing treatment side effects can make all the difference when it comes to your well-being. Whether it’s medication to reduce nausea, improve sleep, or increase your appetite, our goal is to ensure you have access to the medication you need. With a prescription from your oncologist, our team works directly with the pharmacy, so you can focus on healing while we handle the rest.
Living with lymphedema can be challenging, but the right tools can make a meaningful difference. We partner with specialists at Quinn Physical Therapy and Agape Therapy to provide compression garments and other supportive items prescribed by your oncologist or lymphedema specialist. These resources are designed to reduce swelling, ease discomfort, and lower the risk of complications—supporting your comfort and health every step of the way.
Miles Perret offers transportation assistance to help our clients travel to and from cancer-related doctor’s appointments. Our goal is to help ease some of the financial burden so you can focus on your care. Eligibility requirements apply.
How to Begin
No two people will travel the same journey during and after a cancer diagnosis. One common thread in all people affected by cancer is the need for a good support system.
