The Miles Perret Cancer Services Wellness Center is a full-service gym, with guidance tailored to your needs. Our director provides each client with a full assessment. Taking your medical history, limitations, and exercise goals in mind, a program is created just for you with periodic reassessments as your needs change.
The gym is closed during our Yoga, Toning, and Line Dancing classes. You are free to use the gym during the Circuit Training classes.

View Our Wellness Center Calendar View Our Client CalendarSit ‘N Fit – a relaxing chair yoga class that helps improve range of motion, energy, and movement at your individual pace and abilities. Each class includes gentle movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help create ease of mind and body.
Gentle Yoga – focuses on relaxation while increasing range of motion and energy. Flexibility is not required. The class is conducted on the floor, seated or lying down. Modifications and props are offered and encouraged so that every student may work at their own pace in a manner that works for their body. Meditation and breath work are used to help students switch into the parasympathetic nervous system where healing occurs.
Circuit Training – involves rotating through 7 different exercises for a set amount of time, with a short rest period in between each exercise. This class targets different muscle groups and helps to increase your strength, balance, and stamina. All workouts are low impact, and you go at your own pace. All fitness levels are welcome, and the class can be modified to fit any physical needs or limitations.
Toning Class – a total body strength training workout using light weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight. This class helps to build muscle and increase bone density while continuing to use low impact moves. All fitness levels are welcome, and the class can be modified to fit any physical needs or limitations.
Basic Yoga – a mindful practice to end the day, focusing on overall releasing and strengthening at a gentle pace. This class will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed from the day. The focus is on alignment and building our practice from the ground up. All levels are welcome.
Line Dancing – want to start your Wednesdays on the right foot??!!! With a variety of music, we have fun and lots more, as we dance, step, and sway the floor away. No previous experience needed! Just show up as you are and have a good time.
Nutrition Classes also offered – quarterly classes offering research-based nutrition information and cooking demonstrations focused on the impact of diet on cancer diagnosis.
